As a warehouse owner, my costs keep going up while my profits keep going down. The cost of personnel is through the roof. A few days ago a salesman came into my business to talk about robotic palletizers. These are huge pieces of equipment that automate putting items on pallets. This would decrease the number of people I need to employ. I was told that this piece of equipment will pay for itself in less than two years. That is very exciting to me. I can use this palletizer all over my warehouse. I will not have to worry about human error either. While this is a significant investment, I think it will make me more profitable. I am going to run the numbers with my finance and accounting guys. Hopefully, they will agree with my decision. I look forward to purchasing this equipment and putting it into use soon.
